And then I recently have been running into a foundation effect. I will tell you my application process then the trouble so you have an thought:
ane. Wash face & dry out
2. Moisturize
3. Prime number (this may/may non happen during summer0
four. use liquid foundation using a castor/stippling method.
five. let gear up. utilize finishing powder.
at present the trouble i'1000 facing is that when I itch my face, my foundation flakes upwardly under my finger nails. I don't scratch besides difficult or annihilation. Simply when I'm finished & look at my nails, there's foundation caked nether my nails. i don't wear a lot of it to begin with then my face doesn't look too different merely it's merely the point that that definitely makes information technology wear faster.... any suggestions?

hmmm... possibly try applying information technology with a sponge (like the Beauty Blender or something like). Do you mist your face up with a setting spray or something like MAC Fix+?

Information technology sounds similar yous're applying too much? And information technology isn't setting properly. Try a setting spray and using less liquid foundation.

All I tin can say is quit scratching your face. IMO using less foundation won't matter. Exercise you normally scratch your face without foundation? Exercise y'all think yous might be reacting to 1 of the products on your confront?

Since you are applying a liquid so a powder, it will more cakey. Foundations sit on pinnacle of your peel. The only thing that should absorb is your moisturizer and sunscreen. You don't want foundation to absorb into your skin, that would be bad. When I scratch, there will be some under my nail. As long as I don't leave a giant streak of bare skin after, I'g ok. Take Leti'south advice, and don't scratch your face. If you are itchy, you may exist allergic to one of those products y'all have applied.

@beautiiijunkii: No, I don't like using sponges because they don't piece of work as well as my brush =/ I occasionally use i of UD's setting sprays, but that's non a part of my regular daily routine.
@dbgenevieve: No, I can assure you that I am using quite a minimal amount of foundation, lol.
@internetchick: ohh, no! It'southward non similar I'm super duper scratching like as if I had a reaction. I merely usually have to itch the side of my olfactory organ or my cheek quickly once I'm washed. Kind of like how I sneeze everytime I have JUST applied my mascara and it'south still wet. It's simply 1 of those things that'southward me. I was simply wondering if there was anyway to not accept it rake up under my fingernails.
@divadoll: and so information technology happens to you, too? I don't expect information technology to blot into my skin but I wouldn't expect it to all cake upwards under my nails when I just drag my smash down my nose, lol.
give thanks you ladies for your advice!!

So does information technology actually scrap off into flakes or does information technology just kind of gather under your nail? I would endeavor patting as opposed to scratching. Does it happen with every foundation yous utilize? Accept y'all tried different foundations? Try the process of elimination: don't utilize the powder and come across if it all the same happens, then one day use the powder only not the foundation and encounter if it happens then. That should give you some type of info about what's happening.

i remember you'll take some makeup come up upwards when you scratch. You're going to have some wear with makeup no matter what. I become that too when I scratch or something, only then kind of rub it to blend information technology once more in case I have scratched too hard and took off as well much makeup. I've used pro long habiliment foundations, powders, with/without primers, and information technology can still happen a lil bit.
